A man joined a big multinational company as a trainee. On his first day he dialed the pantry and shouted into the phone, “Get me a coffee!”
一个人到一家大型跨国公司接受培训。第一天他打电话到食品部，吼道：“给我拿一杯咖啡来！”
The voice from the other side responded, “You fool, you’ve dialed the wrong extension! Do you know who you’re talking to, dumb ox?” “No,” replied the trainee.
电话另一端的声音答道：“蠢货，你打错了分机号！你知道你在跟谁说话吗，笨蛋？”“不知道。” 培训生回答。
“It’s the Managing Director of the company, you fool!” The man shouted back, “And do you know who you are talking to, you fool?” “No,” replied the Managing Director. “Good!” replied the trainee and put down the phone!
“公司总经理，你这蠢货！”这个人回吼道：“那你知道你在跟谁说话吗，你这蠢货？”“不知道” 总经理回答。“那就好！”培训生回答，挂断了电话。
