I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays this year. I liked GREen plants, clear rivers and lovely amimals there.I breathed the fresh air on the mountain and sometimes I went swimming in the river. I kept a diary every day.
I liked not only the scene of the countryside, but also the people there. I helped them to do farm work. I also helped the children in the neighbourhood with their lessons. The children were interested in English. They were good at reading and writing, but did not do well in listening and speaking. I helped them improve their listening and speaking. Their parents thought highly of me. I realized that knowledge is GREatly needed in the countryside.

How happy I am. Yesterday I finished all the work very quick, so I have a lot of time to do myself. Sometimes finish work early is a good thing, we can have more interests to do the next work. Yesterday I came to the center of Chongqing with my mother. We came to a place named “toward the air door”. I think many people know it. I was walking along the street when a stranger stopped me asked me the way to a new restaurant. I answered told him the route direction carefully. 转眼间，暑假生活已经过去了，我们又迎来了新的学期。回头细看我的暑假生活，还别有一番风味。在作业上，我一直有个习惯，每个假期都到快结束的时候才写完作业，往往只离开学四五天。这次也不例外。可是我从来没有到开学时还没完成作业的现象，而且也没有最后几天疯狂补作业的的现象。这可是个毛病，以后我一定要改掉它！
在暑假里我读了四本书，两本世界名着：《爱丽丝漫游奇境记》和《天使雕像》，还读了两本现代小说，分别是《天蓝得像一页童话》与《隐形的翅膀》。这四本书让我学到的东西太多了，它们陶冶了我的情操，丰富了我的语汇。于是我又买了几本书，按我的速度，足够看到这个学期结束。
最让我庆幸的是，妈妈并没有强迫我抱各种强化班，只是让我平时多看看文章，多读读英语小短文，一天做一两道奥数题。我还如愿以偿地报上了美术班，学习素描，因为妈妈说兴趣是最好的老师。暑假结束时，我已优秀地把素描课程学完了。
暑假里，我还去了一次豫西大峡谷。坐了五六个小时的车才到。我在那里漂流了，很爽、很刺激。从高七米、近九十度的斜坡冲下来。下坡时，汽艇边溅起的水花有一米多，我的胸口也痒痒的。结束时，汽艇前段因冲力太大而沉到了水里，又立刻浮了上来，引得汽艇里全是水。这时汽艇却稳了许多。第一个落差就让冷的直打哆嗦。像这样刺激的冲破有好几个，不过多不大害怕，只有一个隧道以至于现在回想起来都心惊胆战。刚进隧道，一股股浪就打了上来，把我的鼻子、耳朵、嘴里灌满了，等我处理完口中的水，又来了个九十度大转弯，再下坡，这时我眼前的世界一片混乱，分不清哪里是水，哪里是岩石，虽然隧道很黑，但我还是可以隐隐约约看到了事物的轮廓。经过几个大转弯与下坡后，终于看到了一缕光芒，我禁不住喊道：“哈！马上就出去啦！”不料水又开了我的七窍，但我还是开心的。“看见洞外的山和水了，马上就……”刚想到这儿，心又一痒，又是个大坡，唉，但我还是出来了。“终于出来了，耶！”
这个暑假让我开阔了视野，它同样带给我了欢乐，也让我的暑假更加充实。我喜欢我的暑假生活！

抱上一本闲书故意地从爸妈的面前走过，他们面带笑容，看来他们之前所反对的闲书，此时看来已经不闲了。有时跑到阳台，清新的空气窜进鼻子里，会使人感到心旷神怡，拿一本书，一个MP3，尽情阅读，尽情播放，耳边没有喧嚣的吵闹声，只有微微的晨风在耳边轻轻走过，没有人打扰，做什么事都会觉得舒心惬意。自由自在，无拘无束，这不是每天都想要的生活吗？
欢乐也有一丝无奈
暑假虽包含了无限的欢乐，但有时在欢乐中，有时候，也有一丝的无奈。因为在上学期的期末考，我的英语，历史都考砸了，也就因为这两科，让我在班上，甚至在级里，排名都后了很多。爸妈发现后，让我每天都背一课的英语和历史，背不完就不准出去玩。我就只好乖乖地听爸妈的话了。还记得那天，表妹找我到游乐场玩，我因为书没有背完，爸妈不让我去，我姐她们都去了，还拍了许多都照片回来，嫉妒死我了。她们都出去玩了，而我因为成绩不好，要背书，不能去，这种的无奈真的难以形容。
这一个夏天，因为有了欢乐与无奈的陪伴，我的假期更加地多姿多彩了，也因为有了这个假期，使我的身心得到放松，得到释放。我的暑期生活是多么的丰富多彩啊！暑假虽然即将结束，我又将迎来一个新的学期。在假期里的一段段美好的回忆，与往年的暑假相比，这个暑假既让我欢乐，又让我留下了一丝丝的无奈，更给我留下深深的遗憾。
